This year’s integration includes prominent DD pin locations that offer “drive there” directions to encourage visits for unique and timely offers. Dayparted messaging, weather targeting, and zero speed/traffic takeovers allow for custom creative executions; for example, within “zero speed” takeovers, users learn more about Dunkin’ Donuts’ loyalty program, DD Perks® Rewards. Recognizing driving safety issues, product based offers include the option to save the message to be redeemed at a later time.
This summer, Waze opened their application’s architecture to Dunkin’ Donuts for even greater brand integration – users can now select a custom voice option, Dunkin’ Donuts fan and NE-Patriots star Rob Gronkowski, to give turn by turn directions and other notifications while driving along their route!
And even more recently, a custom traffic targeting solution was introduced for Dunkin’, specifically targeting Waze users identified as being stuck in traffic and providing them a special offer from DD, redeemable within the App.
