Sarah Stringer has come quite some way since she started out at PHD Rocket in London: her first job in media involved booking ads for a funeral company. She moved into entertainment marketing in 2008, working across the Universal Music portfolio before joining Carat Australia in 2011 and delivering impressive results on brands such as Disney, Adidas and Mattel. At 29 she became the youngest member of the agency’s senior management team and headed up the Innovations offering across the AU offices. In 2015 she was identified by Campaign Asia in their Formidable Femmes, Top 20 Women to Watch.
In January 2016 she moved to New York to join the Carat US team as part of the Catalyst team as a VP Director of Strategy and Innovation working on the Mondelez NA business.
Stringer is noted for her enthusiasm but also for her ability to make new technology understandable for everyone. Her philosophy is that if “your mum wouldn’t understand it, you’re doing it wrong”.
