About Sonny Kim
Sonny is an accomplished and award‐winning marketer who champions the art & science of digital strategy. With 20 years of experience on publisher and agency sides of the business, she provides a holistic view of the digital ecosystem to create a framework to guide effective marketing initiatives.
A self-admitted Media Geek, Sonny loves the collaboration in developing innovative and effective ideas with clients and publishers. Her vision and passion for pixels, multi channel behavior, and data has helped PGR’s clients such as J.Jill, Keds, and Sperry Top-Sider increase revenue year after year.
Sonny’s account experience includes Bose, John Hancock, Iron Mountain, and Vibram. She joined PGR from AMP Agency where she was SVP of Digital and responsible for digital strategy and planning. Prior to its acquisition by AMP in 2008, she served as Partner of Fulgent Media playing a vital role in the growth of the client roster and eventual sale of the company.
Sonny has served on industry boards including BIMA, Massachusetts Women in Technology, and has spoken on panels about emerging technologies, mobile, online advertising best practices, implications of cookie data, and native advertising.
Outside of work, Sonny keeps up with her daughters in social media and has a great appreciation for golf and wine. Not coincidentally, she suspects her golf game is better when she has wine first.
