Stan Nowak

VP of Consumer Engagement, Aetna

 

Stan Nowak leads Member Engagement. His organization is responsible for coordinating the transformation of our branded member experience, developing new programs to influence member behavior, improve the health and financial outcomes of our members, and creating differentiation in the market.

Stan was most recently the president of Silverlink, a Welltok Company. In that capacity he ran Silverlink and was the general manager of the Welltok Rewards business unit. He was the co-founder, president and CEO of Silverlink Communications, which was founded in 2001. Silverlink is a category leader in healthcare consumer engagement and has contacted over 1/3 of the US population on behalf of its 80 healthcare payers, pharmacy, and health management customers since inception. Silverlink was sold to Welltok in 2015. Stan was the first to apply marketing analytics to technology-based healthcare communications, and Silverlink amassed the broadest industry data-set around the impact of pro-active intervention strategies on consumer health behaviors.

Prior to founding Silverlink, Stan worked from 1997-2001 in various management capacities in the technology infrastructure sector with StorageNetworks and Genuity/GTEInternetworking/BBNPlanet.

Prior to that, Stan worked for several years in the private power sector with InterGen, a private power generation company, where he developed the international business plan and was stationed in India as vice president and country manager from 1993-1996. In that capacity he developed the $300 million PPN Power Project in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.

He lives on the North Shore of Boston, has 3 teenage boys and enjoys classic motorcycles, sailing, SCUBA diving, tennis, and playing the guitar poorly. He attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
