I’m an employee of Partners Healthcare and have witnessed first-hand the passion that Mr. Markell put into Diversity and Inclusion. He has stressed the need for Diversity, because he realizes a company does better with different opinions and what others can bring to the table. For this reason, he instituted the Partners Healthcare Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Not only does Mr. Markell advocated for this program, he has cover this in Town Hall meetings, and for this, he has a dedicated workforce willing to go the extra mile. Perhaps that’s why Partners is such a successful company. Mr. Markell leads by example.
