As Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at PAREXEL, Aida Sabo is responsible for leading the Company’s Global Diversity and Inclusion strategy. In her role, Ms. Sabo leads several global Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to empower a global and diverse workforce, including PAREXEL’s Gender Partnership Steering Committee, Engaging Men as Advocates program and partnerships with various leading Diversity and Inclusion organizations such as Catalyst and Harvard’s Women in Leadership Board.  

Prior to joining PAREXEL, Ms. Sabo led Diversity and Inclusion at Cardinal Health. Under her leadership, Cardinal Health was one of the first companies to launch an initiative to engage men as advocates of change. She also launched Cardinal Health’s Women in Pharmacy Program.  During her career, Ms. Sabo also led the creation of corporate diversity functions at EMC and Agilent Technologies. During her tenure at Agilent, she was the first in Silicon Valley to link Diversity and Inclusion to innovation.

In 2017 Ms. Sabo was recognized by White Men as Full Diversity Partners with a Courageous Leader Award. She has also been honored with awards from the State of Ohio for her work in the Latino Community, the Human Rights Campaign and Stonewall for her work with the LGBT community. She has also been recognized by the National Association for Female Executives as a Woman of Excellence, by The Women’s Book of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Women for Economical and Leadership Development. In 2006 Aida was selected as a Fellow with the National Hispana Leadership Institute and received the Santiago Rodriguez Diversity Award from HENAAC. Aida serves on various boards, including The Partnership Inc., the Howard University College of Pharmacy Board of Visitors and the Harvard JFK School’s Women’s Leadership Board. She is a member of Catalyst’s Expert Community and a taskforce member of the Center for Talent Innovation, founded by Sylvia Ann Hewlett’s organization.

The child of Mexican immigrants, Ms. Sabo moved to the United States when she was three years old. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and has completed graduate courses in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and Georgia Institute of Technology. She has also completed programs in Executive Education at Harvard’s JFK School, Harvard Business School, Stanford University and University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Sabo is based at PAREXEL headquarters in Waltham, MA and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her heart lives in the quest for the inclusion of all underrepresented groups in our society.
