Violence in Boston, Inc.

Monica is an extraordinary individual. In 2016 she ran for state representative for the seven Suffolk District which covers Roxbury lost her election by 100 votes but that did not stop her. Monica then organized the fight Supremacy march here in the city of Boston and she was able to Corrine 45,000 people to March Against Racism from Roxbury to the Boston Common. Monica also helped organize the March for our lives alongside the young people here in the city of Boston. But if that wasn’t enough everyday Monica gives back she created a backpack 68 program to feed Boston public school children every Friday for the 68 hours between the time they leave school Friday and go back to school on Monday to ensure that some of the 4,000 young people have food over the weekend. I have never known anyone more deserving.
