Becca Pizzi, John Hancock Elite Athlete Ambassador, is an accomplished marathoner. She is the course record holder for the World Marathon Challenge, completing 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days with a marathon average of 3:55:11. She first set the record in 2016, and then in a repeat performance, broke her own record in 2018. Becca has run over 60 marathons, including 18 Boston Marathons.

She is the assistant coach to the John Hancock employee marathon team and is race director of the Becca Pizzi 5K. Her next goal is to complete a marathon in every state, and she is getting close to succeeding, with 34 states checked off the list. Becca seeks to continue to inspire others to believe that anything is possible.

She currently resides near Boston with her 12-year-old daughter Taylor and husband Joe. Taylor ran her first race as a six-year-old and also enjoys gymnastics. Becca’s go-to-quote when things get tough is one from Tom Brady: “I didn’t come this far to just come this far.”

Becca and Taylor will take part in the M.A.D. Love segment, moderated by The Boston Globe’s Meredith Goldstein, in which three Mother-And-Daughter pairs will share the stage to talk about life, love, challenges and how they have learned to see the world from each other’s perspective.

M'Girl

M’Girl’s percussive based hand drum songs blend harmonies into a contemporary gospel style, reflecting both their cultural practice and their personal story of home. Led by Renae Morriseau, their music reflects their personal journeys and cultural world views held respectfully by each M’Girl living within the urban environment of the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. M'Girl will be performing along with Sheila Maracle, the Toronto-based composer and singer for their song Eyes Wide Open.
