The truth is, Sen. William “Mo” Cowan is a good public speaker. Since his brief tenure on Capitol Hill he’s done a handful of speaking engagements–nonprofits, universities, high schools and a Martin Luther King Day event in Cohasset. At The Ad Club’s Rosoff Awards on Tuesday he was funny and insightful. Maybe his style is a bit pedantic (using the word “chary” FTW), but Cowan backed up the $10 words with facts and examples on what hiring diverse talent means to the bottom line.

The Ad Club’s 18th Annual Rosoff Awards are only a few days away! On Tuesday, May 13th in the spectacular State Room, the Ad Club will honor companies and individuals changing the face of Boston. These are the extraordinary few who do more than silently support social justice. They are the vocal advocates of inclusion and meaningful diversity practices in their organizations and the local community.

Tomorrow evening, Boston’s best and brightest will come together for a shared goal: to celebrate our city’s continued commitment to social justice. At the 18th Annual Rosoff Awards, the Ad Club will honor companies and individuals epitomizing Boston’s pioneering legacy. They are those who practice what many only preach and are active advocates of inclusion and meaningful diversity practice.
