Caroline Lyle – BostInno
Tomorrow evening, Boston’s best and brightest will come together for a shared goal: to celebrate our city’s continued commitment to social justice. At the 18th Annual Rosoff Awards, the Ad Club will honor companies and individuals epitomizing Boston’s pioneering legacy. They are those who practice what many only preach and are active advocates of inclusion and meaningful diversity practice.
It seems awards shows are an almost nightly occurrence here in the Hub, honoring a whole host of accomplishments, each one proclaiming to be more important than the last. But the Rosoff Awards are not your average handout of trophies or cash. They are an event with a soul, a ceremony which honors not finite achievements but a commitment to social good. For Rosoff Award recipients – which include Arnold Worlwide, Karen Kaplan, Babson University, and former Mayor Thomas M. Menino – their dedication to diversity does not end once they depart the awards ceremony. It is an eternal mission and their passion for progress is not easily extinguished.
Be there tomorrow night as five more Rosoff Awards are bestowed: Internal Diversity Initiative Award, External Diversity Initiative Award,Marketing to a Diverse Audience Award, Non-Profit Initiative Award, and the Mentor Award. (Click to learn more about each category.)
Who will take the evening’s top honors? View this year’s Rosoff Awards finalists and look back at notable past winners.
