ABOUT THIS COURSE:
Social media has exploded and there are trainings and webinars galore that will keep pushing the same lessons about the importance of being authentic, be human, and show your personality. We get it. Social media is meant to be social and Facebook is no longer cool with teenagers.
So lets dive beneath the genuine smile and go deeper. There are three large sections around social media that have developed: developing content, advertising, and data.
Content Development – Who is the producer in your company? Chances are, no one. The idea that the title “Producer” does not exist in your company, yet, your company has multiple channels (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Facebook, and your website) is really strange.
Social Advertising – Gone are the days when you published a post on Facebook and your world not only saw it, but engaged with it. There has been an explosion of content so things have become very slippery. To get traction, you have to pay for posts, tweets, and youtube videos.
Building Data – Are you using your social channels to just push your products and information forward, or, are you also incorporating a pull to expand your database? Pushes need to have corresponding pulls, itʼs a give of content for a take of data.

ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTOR:
Robert Willington is President of Swiftkurrent, a digital marketing company formed in 2009 that works in the political, corporate, and non profit sectors.
Prior to Swiftkurrent, Rob was Executive Director for RebuildTheParty, an organization dedicated to advancing the digital capabilities of the GOP and was Executive Director for the Massachusetts Republican Party. Rob was the digital consultant for the first Scott Brown for US Senate campaign, which was well known for its unique and aggressive approach to digital campaigning.
Rob’s campaign experience has lead to a proprietary branding method that emphasizes speed and agility for brands to adopt.
