PASSION:

Tatum is passionate about helping those less fortunate than her. She is actively involved in several charitable activities outside of her work at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, both through volunteering her time and raising/donating funds.

IMPACT:

In addition to her volunteer role as the co-chair of our Women In Leadership employee resource network at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Tatum actively supports several local charities. She is on the young professionals board at Rosie’s Place (Friends of Rosie’s Place) and volunteers there regularly. She is also active with the United Way, and has organized several charitable drives at Vertex to support the organization (meals for Thanksgiving, packing school backpacks). Lastly, she ran the Boston Marathon this year to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis clinic at Mass General Hospital. Tatum is always thinking about those less fortunate than her and has brought that mentality to our Women in Leadership group at Vertex.
