PASSION:

Shoshana is an avid knitter. She loves making things, especially for other people. She is a very skillful knitter and has used this skill to make a number of beautiful blankets which she donates annually to the nonprofit Project Linus.

IMPACT:

Having grown up with a grandmother who made Shoshana all kinds of things, she knows the impact of receiving something that is homemade. Project Linus provides “love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans”. These blankets and afghans are given to hospitals, shelters and social service agencies – wherever there is need.
