PASSION:

Outside of her position as the COO of YouthBuild, Heidi is a longtime and active member of Bridgespan, an organization that combats social inequity and income inequality.

IMPACT:

Through her work with Economic Mobility Pathway (EMPath), Heidi helps to break cycles of poverty and dramatically improve the quality of life for those in need.  EMPath transforms people’s lives by helping them move out of poverty and provides other institutions with the tools to systematically do the same. EMPath provides support to more than 1,100 low-income and homeless people in Greater Boston each year. Heidi’s work as a board member and mentor over the years has helped to address individual needs and systemic problems related to poverty.
