Outside of her profession as a physician, Oneeka is a prolific author of children’s books and well-known public speaker. Her passion for promoting women in science led to the creation of the DeeDee Dynamo series.

IMPACT:

Through the Dr. DeeDee Dynamo series, Oneeka educates children about the importance of science. Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo is truly the embodiment of everything Oneeka holds dear and wants to teach girls. She inspires children to be like Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo _ caring, dynamic, energetic, positive, powerful, spunky and confident. Oneeka is spreading her love of STEM and creating messages of empowerment for children that are both enriching and engaging.
