The Internal Diversity & Inclusion Initiative Award recognizes companies and institutions that are dedicated to making the corporate work environment a diverse and inclusive place.

This award honors an initiative or program designed to increase diversity in the workforce, create an environment that is welcoming and supportive to every professional, particularly those that have been historically underrepresented in the leadership of the work force, and to attract and retain such individuals.

Measurable results are key to this award.

To Enter:

Entrants should provide clear examples of how their internal programs measurably effected:

  • Growth of diversity within the corporate work place
  • Attraction and retention of diverse individuals to the work place
  • Creation of an environment that is welcoming and supportive to every professional, especially those who have been historically underrepresented in the leadership of Corporate America
  • Creation of an environment in which awareness and culturally sensitivity is important
  • Making diversity among it senior leadership a priority
Judging Criteria:

The committee will consider a number of factors, including the industry and environment in which the nominee corporation or company operates, the ingenuity of the program, as well as the success and measurable results of the program.
