The Ad Club’s 18th Annual Rosoff Awards are only a few days away! On Tuesday, May 13th in the spectacular State Room, the Ad Club will honor companies and individuals changing the face of Boston. These are the extraordinary few who do more than silently support social justice. They are the vocal advocates of inclusion and meaningful diversity practices in their organizations and the local community.

The Rosoff Awards are an annual reminder of our city’s heritage as diversity champions and its continuing commitment to give all citizens a voice. We are a pioneering city of “firsts,” a “city upon a hill,” and that is a precious legacy we must strive to uphold. The Rosoff Awards are part of that mission, to make Boston an eternal beacon of social justice.

This year, Mayor Martin J. Walsh will attend as an honorary Champion of Change and Senator William “Mo” Cowan will be a keynote speaker, both showing their support for courageous locals who refuse to accept the status quo. Five awards will be bestowed honoring all manners of social justice: Internal Diversity Initiative Award, External Diversity Initiative Award, Marketing to a Diverse Audience Award, Non-Profit Initiative Award, and the Mentor Award. (Click to learn more about each category.) Who will receive the evening’s top honors? Check out all of this year’s finalists here.

The honorees will join an esteemed circle of Rosoff Award winners who continue to fight for progress long after the Ad Club hands them an award.

To celebrate Boston’s diversity champions of past and present, take a look at past Rosoff Award winners and be sure to honor the new social justice vanguard at the 18th Annual Rosoff Awards, Tuesday, May 13th 5 pm to 8 pm at the State Room.
