Creative Concepts

Winter 2018

What’s this course about?

Great creative work always does two things: It works and it rewards. It works by delivering on a communication goal whether it’s awareness or clicks or likes/comments/shares/hearts. And it rewards people for their time with a smile, a laugh or a strum of the heartstrings. This 8-week course will focus on creative that works and rewards and what it takes to make it.

Developed specifically for current creatives who want to beef up their portfolio or people looking to make the jump into creative, this course will challenge students to generate and execute ideas across all forms of media. In-class and take-home assignments will focus on thinking fast while class critiques will give students direction in honing their ideas into portfolio-worthy pieces. Guest speakers and critiquers from Boston agencies will stop in to give their takes on the work.
