Video Content Strategy & Development
Spring 2018
What’s this course about?
Anybody can create video these days… just like anybody can cook. However, there is a noticeable difference between a steak prepared by Wolfgang Puck and one prepared at home (at least for most of us). The same goes for video, even though it does seem easy when watching Tasty clips or the Food Network!
In this course, we will unpack what goes into successful video content strategies. From craft quality production or quick internal content, through seamless distribution via organic or paid media, we’ll break down how to maximize the potential of today’s fast paced social/digital video ecosystem.
The 101 agenda will include:
- Multi-platform video strategies
- Developing video content for various budget options
- Production tips for maximizing value
- Post-production expectations for tiered deliverables
- Syndication options for different distribution channels
