Creative Concepts
Summer 2016
What’s this course about?
The industry has radically changed in the last five years. The big idea is no longer just about creating something that fits in a box. It’s about making new boxes to create the stories and experiences that make a positive impact in the world.
This 8-week course invites young creatives to imagine “what’s next” in the value exchange between people & brands. Passionate and seasoned professionals will coach, critique and collaborate with you as you explore ideas across different mediums with a singular purpose.
Each week, students will hear from creative directors and partners in strategy, engagement and innovation share their firsthand experience, highlighting campaigns and work for national and global brands. Students will also have the chance to share their work as they develop their ideas for class assignments and their personal portfolios.
Classes meet once a week in the evening for two hours over a period of nine weeks. The week of July 4th will be a break.
