Nigel Tay is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Nigel specializes in RnB/Pop music, greatly influenced by artists such as John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Musiq Soulchild and Jason Mraz. Inspired by a high calling, Nigel writes songs that are heavily themed on love and positive messages that intend to uplift spirits. While furthering his studies abroad at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA as a junior majoring in songwriting, he is currently recording his second EP, which is to be released in 2014.

Having performed in various venues all over the world – The Hong Kong Ritz Carlton; Florence, Italy with Amos Bocelli (Andrea Bocelli’s son); NYC’s “The Bitter End”; multiple bars in Boston such “Daryl’s Corner” and the “Copley Plaza Hotel” etc.; and of course venues in Kuala Lumpur such as “No Black Tie”, “Alexis Ampang”, “Tom, Dick & Harry’s” and more.

As Nigel continues to further improve his musical and songwriting skills at Berklee, he also continues to strive for the opportunity to impact lives and move hearts, through his music and lyrics, one soul at a time.
