Born in Germany of&nbsp;Cameroonian parents, and an immigrant to the U.S., Tania has been involved in cancer research throughout her college career, at the University of Michigan and a biotech company, in addition to Harvard. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Apart from her research, Tania also created and co-directed the first annual Black Health Matters Conference at Harvard, and is president of the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers.
