PASSION:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Karen runs an organization in honor of her grandson called Cruising for CJ. Karen and her family created this organization in 2010 after her grandson was born with health issues. She does this to give back to Boston Children’s Hospital for what the people there did for her family. <\/span><\/p>\n

IMPACT:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Karen has been leading a Children’s Hospital Toy Drive every holiday season for the past several years with support from her daughter, Melissa, and with the help and inspiration of her grandson, CJ. Every year CJ increases the number of gifts he collects, and each year Karen strives to beat CJ’s goal. In 2017, more than 700 gifts were donated, and in 2018, more than 800 gifts were donated to children who stay at Children\u2019s Hospital during the holiday season. <\/span><\/p>\n
