PASSION:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Lucie believes that education is the path out of poverty, and has a passion for supporting charities that are improving the education model for children, and meeting the needs of the \u2018whole child\u2019.\u00a0 She is an ambassador for Flying Kites, a Boston and Kenyan-based non-profit that is making a profound difference in the lives of children in rural Kenya, by providing them with access to a top education & social services. Lucie is hiking Mount Kilimanjaro this summer to raise money in support of the organization.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

IMPACT:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Lucie is not only a dedicated and hard-working employee in the office. She takes a tremendous amount of time outside of the office to make an impact on people\u2019s lives in our community and across the globe. She is both a Flying Kites Ambassador, supporting fundraising efforts in the Boston community, and a Flying Kites Student Sponsor. Her support helps to cover the multitude of costs associated with educating and providing for hundreds of young students. Examples of the impact include providing three healthy meals every day, fuel for the school bus that brings the students safely to and from campus, books, art supplies, retaining dedicated teachers and staff, and more. She sponsors a young student, Agnes, who she will meet this summer when she visits the Flying Kites Academy, before her Kilimanjaro climb.<\/p>\n
