Manuel, \u201cManny,\u201d created the Ambitious Young Men Engaged in Necessary Dialogue (AMEND) Boston, where he mentors and supports young men academically, spiritually, and sometimes, financially. He does all that with his own resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

IMPACT:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

AMEND is a group of young men at the University of Massachusetts Boston whose goals are: building a brotherhood through sharing common struggles, giving back to the community where they came from, and completing their college degrees.\u00a0Through this, Manny has inspired the men he has met to be bold, brave, and yet vulnerable.
