In the past, Hubspot has been transparent about needing to increase its diversity, and recently the company has really walked the walk, both with internal programs and external initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Internally at the company, Hubspot has launched multiple employee resource groups (LGBTQ + Alliance, People of Color at Hubspot, etc.) and has put a lot of effort into becoming a parent-friendly company. For example, in 2018 HubSpot extended their primary caregiver leave from 12 to 16 fully-paid weeks, and now also offer 6 weeks of fully-paid secondary caregiver leave to all employees globally. In addition, they have extended their fertility coverage to subsidize voluntary egg harvesting and freezing for women over the age of 32.<\/p>\n

Hubspot has also launched several external initiatives that help improve the diversity and inclusion of the tech space in Boston. They are an inaugural partner for Hack.Diversity; hold day-long coding bootcamps for women majoring in computer science; host a “First Gens in Tech” meetup in Cambridge and Dublin and “Latinos in tech” events,” and hold quarterly Women@Work events where hundreds of women from Boston’s top tech companies can come together for networking and skill-building.<\/p>\n

Hubspot is part of only 20% of companies that have 3+ female Board members, and every International Women’s Day they hold a “women on board” event to help women develop the skills they need to position themselves for board positions.<\/p>\n

Lastly, Hubspot is also very transparent about their D&I progress – they publish an annual diversity report separate from other annual reports and other corporate communications, which very few companies do.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n
