font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">PHD Worldwide<\/span> | Worldwide Marketing and Communications Director<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  vc_custom_1536258249828\">\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Avril leads the global marketing and corporate communications function for PHD Worldwide and is a member of the Worldwide executive team.<\/p>\n<p>Since joining PHD\u2019s London HQ in 2010 she has been responsible for managing the reputation of the network and raising its profile globally, successfully putting PHD on the map to attract key global client accounts, which include VW, HSBC and GSK.<\/p>\n<p>She has spearheaded initiatives that have seen PHD named Media Network of the Year numerous times, as well as climb to be the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> most awarded network globally in industry league table, The Gunn Media 100.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to PHD, Avril was the Global PR Director at creative agency Iris, having spent her earlier years running the corporate communications efforts for leading creative agencies in London, including TBWA and HHCL\/Redcell.&nbsp;&nbsp; Before working agency side, she worked on a wide range of consumer clients at leading PR consultancy Frank PR.<\/p>\n<p>She has expertise across all areas of integrated marketing and leads PHD\u2019s global awards strategy and program.\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"gap\" style=\"line-height: 25px;
