Before The Community, Marcelo was a Group Creative Director at David&Goliath where he led Kia Motors and AdCouncill accounts, with prior stints at TBWA/Brazil, Ogilvy/São Paulo and McCann-Erickson/São Paulo. Marcelo has developed and led projects for brands such as Unilever, Kraft Foods, Converse, Adidas, Band Sports, Burger King, and Coca-Cola. His “Crazy for Good” campaign for Coca-Cola was adapted to several markets across the U.S, Europe and Asia.
Marcelo work has been recognized by every major award show including five Grand Prix, Golds and Pencils at Cannes Lions, D&AD, the One Show, the Clios, the Andys the London International Awards, Wave Festival and the Effies. In 2013, he had the honor of helping Ogilvy Brazil win the Agency of The Year Award in Cannes.
