Philip was also named to AdAge’s 40 under 40, for 2016, celebrating those who are reinventing and reshaping marketing’s future. Charles Bukowski once said “As long as you have a spark, you can start the greatest fire.” Battery has been the spark behind some of the hottest campaigns in the industry including the launch of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Mortal Kombat X and Batman Arkham Knight, and NBC Universal’s pioneering new comedy video streaming service Seeso.
Philip leads creative and strategy at Battery. Previously, he was the Executive Creative Director of DARE NYC, LA and Toronto. Philip has also led teams at Grey Worldwide and BBDO. Launching Battery in 2013, Philip assembled a team of top creatives from Chiat, Deutsch, Saatchi and Grey. Since then, Battery has created campaigns for Shazam, Mike’s Harder Lemonade, Lego, Paramount Pictures and NBCUniversal, among others. They’ve been winning all the awards (Ad Age, Clios, etc.) and major brands have come knocking in late 2015 and 2016.
Philip has also worked with BMO, Baileys, Campbell’s, Cingular, Citi, Dreamworks, Labatt Breweries, GAP, General Motors, John Frieda, LinkedIn, McDonald’s, NFL, General Mills, E*TRADE, Konami, Shazam, Sprint, Sony Ericsson, PlayStation, Reebok, Research In Motion, Pepsi-QTG, Verizon and XM.
