Stephanie Browne is Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA), the largest health insurance plan in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  She develops and leads BCBSMA\u2019s strategies to attract, recruit and retain talent and to inspire a culture of inclusion where all associates are engaged and feel valued. Stephanie co-chairs the Diversity Council with BCBSMA\u2019s President and CEO, Andrew Dreyfus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to her current role, Stephanie spent over 20 years in Information Technology.  Her most recent role was leading the IT Strategy and Planning organization where she was charged with planning and delivering enterprise-wide, technology programs. Managing a team of architects, analysts and program managers overseeing a $75 million project portfolio. In addition to the strategy role, she supported BCBSMA\u2019s Corporate Strategy and Innovation teams during the successful launch of Design Thinking <\/em>and the Idea Management <\/em>programs for BCBSMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephanie was the recipient of the Diversity Global Magazine\u2019s, 2020 Top Ten Influential<\/strong> Women in Diversity <\/strong>and the 2019 Mass Technology Leadership Council\u2019s Mosaic Award<\/strong> for her ongoing efforts to diversify Corporate America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She currently serves on the board of directors for the Mass Technology Leadership Council and Cambridge College\u2019s Board of Directors as their Audit Chair.  Previously Stephanie served as a director on theExecutive Board of The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and is a recipient of the 2016<\/em>Leading Women Award<\/em>.  Stephanie is a member of The Boston Club; The Links Incorporated, Boston Chapter; The Cottagers, Inc. and is a past National President of The Circle-Lets, Inc.<\/strong> Stephanie is a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE), and holds a Masters of Education from Cambridge College.  She is also an alumna of the Executive Leadership Council\u2019s (ELC) Pipeline Leadership Program and the America\u2019s Health Insurance Professionals (AHIP).  Stephanie and her husband, Basil, live on Martha\u2019s Vineyard in the town of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
