St. George talked about the state of the industry, the next ten years for JetBlue, and the value of culture and customer service in building great brands.<\/p>\n

About Marty St. George<\/h2>\n

\"Marty_Headshot\"Marty leads JetBlue\u2019s marketing team, which includes (among other areas) its advertising, e-commerce, product, partnership and loyalty strategies.<\/p>\n

Marty joined JetBlue as leader of the network strategy team in 2006 and moved to marketing in 2008. In his 5 years at JetBlue, he has experienced profits, losses, ice storms, and growth to 19 new destinations in 8 new countries \u2013 but he is proudest of the fact that JetBlue has won 6 consecutive JD Power Awards for best domestic airline in North America.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining JetBlue, Marty held various marketing, network and strategy positions at both United Airlines and US Airways. He is a native of Boston and has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and although he is based in New York City he remains a rabid Red Sox and Bruins fan. Marty and his wife Teri have 3 children, and live in Connecticut.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
