4/26 CMO Breakfast with:
Shinola
On April 26, Bridget Russo, Chief Marketing Officer of Shinola, spoke about the brand’s mission to bring manufacturing jobs and industry back to a storied American city. Just as the brand is committed to high-quality, handcrafted products, it is also committed to creating a community that will thrive through excellence of craft and pride of work.
Bridget Russo
Chief Marketing Officer
Driven by a desire to work for a brand that creates well-made products that create jobs in America, Bridget Russo joined Shinola in 2012. As Chief Marketing Officer she overseas global marketing and communications for the brand working closely with internal and external partners to build an American design brand through storytelling and products that are built to last. A dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, Bridget relocated from Tribeca to Detroit in 2014, where she oversees Shinola’s marketing efforts from the company headquarters at the historic Argonaut Building. Prior to Shinola, Russo made a name for herself in the fashion industry by pursuing projects she found ethically compelling—including the establishment of her own consulting firm, Passion Projects Consulting, whose focus was fashion ventures with a philanthropic angle. This globally inspired mentality took her across Africa while working with Ali Hewson and Bono at EDUN, a company committed to reducing poverty on the African continent through increased trade.
