Grossman will talk about the team’s marketing and branding efforts, exciting plans to celebrate Fenway Park’s 100th anniversary, and plans to carry the team through another successful season.
About Adam Grossman
Adam Grossman returns to the Red Sox in 2012 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Brand Development after spending three years as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. In his new role, Grossman will oversee all aspects of the club’s marketing functions including advertising, branding, social media, marketing and fan analytic initiatives. He will also lead the club’s fan and loyalty programs which include Red Sox Nation and Kid Nation. He began his career with the Red Sox in 2002 and was named the Special Assistant to President/CEO Larry Lucchino in 2004. He became the VP/Marketing in 2008 and oversaw the club’s advertising campaigns, worked with MLB International on all aspects of the Red Sox presence in Japan and played a key role in expanding event opportunities at Fenway Park, including the “Futures at Fenway” minor league doubleheaders which brought the first official minor league games to the ballpark.
While with the Dolphins, Grossman initiated and expanded the Dolphins’ advertising, regional marketing, Hispanic and community efforts. He oversaw the Dolphins marketing efforts and worked extensively on the club’s rebranding in partnership with the NFL. Grossman also developed the Miami Dolphins Special Teams volunteer force and the Miami Dolphins “Touchdown for Life” Blood Drive, which became Florida’s largest one-day blood drive. He was also instrumental in the expansion of Fins Weekend, the Foundation’s annual golf and fishing fundraiser, as well as the implementation of the Dolphin Cycling Challenge that raised over $1.5 million for cancer research in its first two years.
A Cleveland native and graduate of Duke University, Grossman resides in Boston with his wife, Candy Hannemann.
