Meredith Verdone is Senior Vice President, Enterprise Marketing & Market President Executive at Bank of America, where she currently leads multiple enterprise marketing functions as part of the Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs organization. Verdone’s enterprise-wide functions include brand strategy, customer research, advertising, social media strategy, global sponsorships, local market delivery, marketing operations and agency management. Verdone previously led the Wealth & Investment Management marketing team responsible for translating business strategy into integrated sales and marketing programs to drive growth, profitability and client satisfaction for mass affluent and high-net-worth clients.
Prior to her roles at Bank of America, Verdone held leadership positions across FleetBoston Financial’s Corporate Marketing group overseeing marketing development for Fleet Private Clients Group; Quick & Reilly, Fleet’s discount brokerage arm; and Fleet Investment Services group, serving large and mid-sized institutions. Verdone also led Fleet’s brand development after the bank’s acquisition of BankBoston. Verdone started at Fleet in 1999.
Verdone came to Fleet from Hill Holliday, a Boston-based advertising agency, where she spent 14 years in management positions in both Media and Account Management. Verdone worked on the award-winning John Hancock television campaign as well as national, multi-media campaigns for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Spalding and Reebok.
Verdone is senior faculty member at the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for Mass College of Art and is an Executive Sponsor of the LEAD for Women Boston chapter proving leadership opportunities for women.
Verdone attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and graduated with a degree in Economics. Verdone lives in Newton, MA with her husband and two daughters.
