How the Media Auction Gives Back<\/b><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

We know that our diversity is our strength, and because of this, we are committed to finding ways to help our community build a more diverse workforce. That\u2019s why we have partnered with Bottom Line to create The Ad Club Scholars, a need-based multi-year scholarship program for first-generation college students interested in exploring careers in Marketing, Advertising and Visual Media. Financial support is important, but these scholarships also come with a commitment to mentoring and internships from The Ad Club members, as well as other support to ensure student success. We are fully committed to making change.<\/p>\n

In 2020, its inaugural year, The Ad Club Scholars program gave $100,000 to five young people who are studying at Massachusetts colleges. And we look forward to welcoming a second cohort of The Ad Club Scholars in 2021. The support of our media companies, advertising agencies, and brands makes all of this possible. We want to thank everyone who donated to and purchased from the Media Auction.<\/p>\n

About The Ad Club Media Auction<\/h2>\n

The Media Auction is The Ad Club\u2019s largest annual fundraiser. Every year, the media community in Boston donates over $6 million worth of media donations (covering all media types from TV, to print, newspaper, radio, outdoor, digital and mobile media). Media donations are posted online, and auctioned off \u201ceBay style\u201d at a discounted price to area media companies and brands.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t
